3058311 - Unsupported character Password error for SFTP in Integration Center

You are using Integration Center and sending an output file to SFTP Folder and receive the following error:

"Failed due to - Unsupported character as part of the password; please refer documentation for unsupported character"

Example of password used:

Abcd+1234_xyz

• SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite
• Integration Center

The SFTP Password field supports alphanumeric characters that are case sensitive. This field does not support special character (+) and non-ascii characters

Remove any non-ascii characters and special character (+)

Once these characters are removed, the error will no longer be encountered.
