3058569 - Crystal Reports 2016/2020 and Oracle BLOB fields no longer display the TIFF image

Symptom

Crystal Reports 2016/2020 and Oracle BLOB fields no longer display the image when view, exported or printed

Reproducing the Issue

Create a report connecting to Oracle and use a BLOB field with a supported image type, bmp, etc.

Resolution

As of CR 2020 4.3.2 we have added TIFF support back into the product so the registry key below will not be required.

As a work around for now add this registry key:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\SAP BusinessObjects\Suite XI 4.0\Crystal Reports\FormatOptions]

"SupportTiff"="Yes"

And the usual warnign about manually modifying the regsitry, back it up first....
