You may have been running a custom configuration on an On-Premise or Legacy Commerce Cloud Solution where it was possible to simply replace files included in the base package as needed. You may have be using the "ant customize" feature to do so. With Commerce Cloud in the Public Cloud, similar functionality is possible but is not as straightforward as replacing files within the package via filesystem, or using "ant customize".
