3059389 - "An unexpected technical error occurred." when you publish the result of a data action in SAP Analytics Cloud for Planning (SAC)

A data action can be executed successful. However, if you try to publish the data for this version, you receive the following error:

• An unexpected technical error occurred.

If you input data of the same version from one table cell, it can be published successfully.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

Technical errors occur due to internal memory limitations. Total consumption of memory consists of the calculated result plus (+) all records of the base version.

For example,

• Calculated result: 10 Mil
• Base version(Actual)  record 50 Mil
• Total record is 60 Mil when publishing and needs memory to publish based on total 60 Million records.

Reduce the number of records to be generated by the data action or base version (e.g. Actual).

For example:

• Re-engineer the model to avoid 1 dimension having more than thousands members
• Store the results in different public versions (e.g. one version for one month)
• Split the base version to reduce number of records in one public version.
