Symptom
Candidates when trying to apply for a Job requisition through external career site, application error is received.
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment
SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management
Reproducing the Issue
- Go to external career site
- Apply as a candidate to any job which has quick apply enabled
- Application error with Fingerprint: 0d5ce105f22e1e9801c7d74b222739e8eb73af90 or ef3396250f71a0b812cef960356279a7bb3c2aa1
Cause
The cause of the issue is due to assessment integration on a job requisition with quick apply enabled under the default status and the candidate is not already signed in.
Resolution
When a candidate is already signed in and they apply to a job requisition with quick apply enabled where the assessment is configured to be triggered in the default status, they will be redirected to the assessment URL once they submit the application.
If a candidate is not already signed in and they apply to a job requisition with quick apply enabled where the assessment is configured to be triggered in the default status, they will receive the application error as mentioned above.
There is an open engineering ticket for this enhancement so that non-signed in candidates will be successfully redirected to the assessment URL in this scenario also: RCM-115092. You can refer this ticket number to your CSM/CEE so they can check for updates on this internally also.
