3059662 - App Manage Payment Plans displays error BEHAVIOR_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT

When on App Manage Payment Plans, you try to Activate a Payment Plan, the following error appears:

Runtime Error: 'BEHAVIOR_ILLEGAL_STATEMENT'. The OData request processing has been abnormally terminated. If you use SAP S/4HANA Cloud, please create an case. Otherwise, if "Runtime Error" is not initial, launch ADT feed "Runtime Errors" or transaction ST22 / SM21 (system log analysis) for details and analysis.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1.  Go to The App Manage Payment Plan
2.  Select a Payment Play
3.  Click in Activate

There's a BUG in the system and it should be fixed in the future upcoming release.

The Fix should be released in system version 2108.

The error is due to the Fiscal Year Variant to be closed for the desired period
To avoid the error message, please check the following SAP KBA below, and adjust accordingly your Fiscal Year Period:
