Symptom

Payment medium creation failed with the error "Payment Medium Creation Error" for payment method C for country US. Checks are not available in the app "Manage outgoing checks" for the payment run.

Go to 'Manage Automatic Payments'
Provide the parameters
Schedule the payment run

Cause

The payment medium format used in the SSCUI 101972("Set Up Payment Methods for Each Country/Region for Payment Transactions") and the Format in Company Code are different.

Resolution

The format CHECK_OM should be used in the cloud system for payment method C for company codes in country US. To view the format maintained in the company code, click on the button "Format in Company Code" in Payment Medium section in the SSCUI 101972.
