Symptom
There are some scenarios where it is necessary, for troubleshooting purposes, to bypass the load balancer and force the access to a specific server (pod).
Some examples:
- Intermittent slowness/failures discovered to be noticeable on certain pods only
- Thread dumps or JDBC logs need to be collected on the same pod where an issue is being observed or replicated
- A Solr index may have replicas that are not propagated to all pods, and one would like to view its details in the admin console
