3060949 - Date and Tims measures cannot be used in charts in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

When trying to use a DATE or TIMS measure (or Key Figure) in a chart, those measures are not available to use.  However, if you try to use them in a table, the DATE and TIMS measures can be used.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2021

1. Create a new story off of a BW Live 
2. Add a chart and try to use a DATE or TIMS measure in the chart
3. Note that those measures cannot be used
4. Try to add the same measures to a table
5. Note that those measures can be used in the table

This issue is by design.

As per the help guide which can be found here, DATE and TIMS fields are not currently supported for use in charts - they are only currently supported for use in Table visualizations.
