3061148 - Change source of supply is grayed out in Stock Transfer Proposal for a Business User

When trying to access option Change Source of Supply for a Stock Transfer Proposal ID KLM (KLM means Stock Transfer Proposal ID), the option Change Source of Supply is disabled from Business User ID DEF (DEF means user ID).

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Supply Control Work Center.
2. Navigate to Process Stock Transfer Proposals View.
3. Select drop down All proposals by selection.
4. Select any STO proposal and select actions --> Change Source of Supply.
5. The Change Source of Supply is grayed out.

As the Business User DEF is not assigned to either of work center views: SCM_PROCESSPRODNPRPSLS (Process Production Proposals) and SCM_PROCESSPURCHASEPRPSLS (Process Purchase Proposals), hence Change of Source of Supply button is disabled for this user.

To enable button Change Source of Supply it is necessary to assign either of work center views: SCM_PROCESSPRODNPRPSLS (Process Production Proposals) and SCM_PROCESSPURCHASEPRPSLS (Process Purchase Proposals), as follows:

1. Navigate to Application and User Management Work Center.
2. Go to Business Users View.
3. Select User DEF.
4. Select Edit --> Access Rights.
5. Navigate to Work Center and View Assignment tab.
6. Assign to User work center views SCM_PROCESSPRODNPRPSLS (Process Production Proposals) and SCM_PROCESSPURCHASEPRPSLS.
7. Select Save.
