Symptom

How to change the error text of a message in Onboarding process

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log into SAP SuccessFactors HCM
  2. Navigate to Onboarding
  3. Access Settings -> Panels -> preview Panel
  4. Submit data
  5. Receive error 
  6. User wishes to update this error message

Resolution

  1. Log into instance and go to Onboarding
  2. Go to Settings -> Panels
  3. Select the relevant panel from the list
  4. Click Export Translations
  5. Download and open the file
  6. Find the message that you would like to edit
  7. Edit the message and save the changes
  8. Click Import Translations to upload the changed file
