3061463 - DRC Brazil Statutory Reporting and TDF - How to Modify or Omit Block K Registers Using Shadow Tables

Symptom

You need to alter the final registers reported in Block K of the EFD ICMS/IPI file. This requires manipulating the underlying data records before the report is generated. Common scenarios include:

  • Changing a value within a register, such as its quantity (QTD).
  • Changing a key field, which requires preventing the original register from being created and inserting a new one based on a corrected data record.
  • Ensuring a data record generated by standard logic does not result in a corresponding register in the final report file.
