Symptom

Unable to find Business Object "Sales Order" in Subscriptions for Event Notification.

Environment

 SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Administrator work center
  2. Select General Settings view
  3. Select Event Notification under System Administration
  4. Click Consumers and select Add Subscriptions

In Business Object drop down list, unable to find Sales Order.

Cause

Business Object Customer Quote (which is the technical Business Object for Sales Order and Sales Quote) is not scoped. That's the reason why it is excluded from the drop down list box for Business objects in Event notification UI.

Resolution

You have to scope Customer Quote in Business Configuration.
