3061601 - You can't select Item Group in Product Master Data

Symptom

You want to select the value of Item Group in Product Master Data, but No Items Found for this field.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Product and Service Portfolio Work Center, Products View
  2. Open Product ABC (where ABC stands for the prodcut)
  3. Navigate to Sales tab
  4. You want to select the value of "Item Group" field
  5. But No Items Found for this field

Cause

The relevant topic hasn't been scoped in the Project Scope

Resolution

To scope the Item Group: 'NORM', follow the below steps:

  1. Go to Business Configuration Work Center.
  2. Select Implementation Project View.
  3. Select Edit Project Scope.
  4. Go to the 3rd step.
  5. Go to 'Sales' -> Go to 'Product and Service Portfolio for Sales’.
  6. Select 'Sell Standard Products' and 'Sell Specified Products'.
