3061950 - How to Assign New Predefined Roles after Upgrade

Symptom

After an upgrade you notice a new predefined role, but you are unable to assign it. When you attempt to assign the new role to a user, you see the error:

After upgrade to Release 2105/version 10.5.2 there were two new predefined roles:

  • Web Assistant Administrators
  • Snippet Authors

Note:  a predefined role is one of the standard roles supplied with the installation of Enable Now Manager.

Note: The Web Assistant Administrators role has now been renamed twice.  The current name of the role is In-App Help Administrators.  See KBA:

3325436 Role Name changes: "Web Assistant Administrators" to "SAP Companion Administrators" to  "In-App Help Administrators"
