3061997 - Cannot Delete Property Rule In C4C For Extension Field

You have added a property rule (Mandatory, Read-Only or Visible) to an extension field and you cannot delete it from the system.

1. Open Adaptation Mode.
2. Select affected field.
3. Delete the rule created for this field.
4. End Adaptation.
5. When you open Adaptation Mode again, you notice that the rule was not successfully deleted.

One possible cause is that this field was created using old HTML5 UI. This can cause inconsistency which prevents you from deleting the rule.

Check if the field was added to the UI using HTML5(HTML5) or Fiori(RUI). If the field was created using old HTML5, delete the change transaction which added it to the screen.

Note, this does not delete the field itself, just the transaction where you added it to the screen. Once this transaction is deleted, you can simply add the field back as normal with the current UI.

1. Highlight the field, go to Changes tab in Adaptation Panel and select the AddField/AddExtensionField CT. 
2. Check if the ClientType = "HTML5" and not "RUI". If the client type = "HTML5", delete the CT and then re-add the field to the UI to resolve the issue.
