3062026 - XMLFM Exception during render: org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE

Symptom

Adobe Document Services(ADS) is configured properly on Windows platform. ADS returns CORBA exceptions during rendering. The following error can be found in default trace file:
"
com.adobe.ProcessingException: com.adobe.ProcessingException: XMLFM Exception during render: org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE
......
Caused by: org.omg.CORBA.COMM_FAILURE:   vmcid: SUN  minor code: 2  completed: No
"

The environment variable OMNIORB_USEHOSTNAME was set to hostname as per note 1105975. If IP address is specified instead of hostname, the exception does not occur.

Performing a ping test on ADS server returns IPv6 address:
