3062473 - WebDynpro Apps doesn't have options to share public views

Symptom

For some users, there is no option to share public views for WebDynpro Apps.
For some other users, when saving the view (bookmark), there is a selection "Shared" available.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

Open a WebDynpro App and try to save current view.

Cause

The public bookmark feature is currently in S/4 Hana Cloud only available for Key Users having SAP_CORE_BC_EXT assigned.

Those public bookmarks are visible to all users in the system, therefore we chose this approach. The idea is that there privileged users which can provide such public bookmarks for the other business users.

Resolution

You could assign SAP_CORE_BC_EXT to the user, so the user will be able to save public views.
