3062950 - Difference between company code currency and group currency

When you check some actual value reports, you may find for some cost center, material or other objects, the company code currency value is different with the group currency value.

Check reports such as Cost Centers - Actuals to compare values between company code currency and group currency.

With Material Ledger active, it's possible to have difference price/price unit in difference currencies.
The most common cause for such issue is that you maintained different price units between company code currency and group currency for some materials.
When system calculates the price for the material there will be rounding issue, so the price with less price unit number will be round off/up into a different value.

Example:

Price Unit for Company Code Currency: 1000
Price Unit for Group Currency: 1

Price in Company Code Currency: 155.55 EUR
Price in Group Currency: round to 0.16

It's necessary to have consistent price units between company code currency and group currency.
You need first to change the price units into the same value.
Then if necessary, recost the material.
For existing difference between company code currency and group currency, you could use App Manage Material Valuations - function Debit/Credit Material to adjust one of the currency into the correct value.
