3063756 - Not possible to add custom fields to journal entry header

Symptom

The requirement is to add a custom field to journal entry header, which business context should be used.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition.

Reproducing the Issue

Create custom fields in app Custom Fields and Logic and try to add to journal entry header in app Manage Journal Entries.

Cause

It is not possible to add custom fields to journal entry header, custom fields can be added to journal entry item.

Resolution

It is standard behavior.
