Symptom

Error message "Dlv. type (dlv. catgry &1 for mat &2 and BWART 311) cannot be determined" occurs when posting goods movement for a stock transfer order.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Application "Post Goods Movement".
  2. Enter movement type 311, material, plant, storage locations, quantity.
  3. Click "Post" button.

Cause

It is not allowed to do stock transfter from a HU managed storage location to a Non-HU mananged storage location.

Resolution

You can go to SSCUI 103836 HU Requirement for Storage Locations and uncheck HU-requirement checkbox for the source storage location.
