3064295 - How to remove the keyword JOB from the title of jobs posted on the RMK site

Symptom

The word “Job/JOB” may be appended by default to all English locales jobs in Recruiting Marketing as part of the SEO (search engine optimization) strategy.
This setting is no longer configurable in Command Center but is coded in the CSB XML.

As this setting should not be used anymore, this KBA explains how to remove it.

Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing (RMK)

Resolution

The setting for this option is available in CSB :
 1. Access Career Site Builder --> Tools --> Import/Export, export the Site Settings. (Save a backup copy before making changes)
 2. Search for the line <jobtitleappend><![CDATA[lblJob]]></jobtitleappend
 3. Remove the entire line
 4. Import the file again and Save

Note on getting the job data updated after removing the code in the XML:
Running a Fullfeed in Provisionning may be needed after the change to see the job data updated.
Note this action can only be done by Support or Implementation Partners due to access restrictions to this backend tool.

Note : If customers still want to have the key word Job or “JOB”, they should add it to the RCM title themselves instead.
