3064523 - Excel Import does not resolve references as shortcuts - SAP PD

Symptom

  • Excel Import is used to create links between objects.
  • Although one of the extremity objects already exists in the model as an external shortcut, PD ignores it and creates a new object with same name and code.
  • Selecting import option 'Search for referenced objects in other models' does not seem to have an impact.
