Symptom

  • ASE errorlog reports an "Infected with signal 11" error in the function ubpfcleanup() with a stack trace:

    Current process (0x112105b2) infected with signal 11 (SIGSEGV)
    Address 0x0x000000000221f46c (ubpfcleanup+0x3c), siginfo (code, address) = (1, 0x(nil))

  • The stack trace includes the following functions:

    ubpfcleanup
    pss__release
    pss_unkeep
    terminate_process
    quitfn
    usrfill

  • Another manifestation of this issue shows stack strace similar to 

          alt__build_heap
          ubpfcleanup
          conn_hdlr_err_cleanup
