Symptom

Below error message raised during Simulation or Migration phase of a Sales order in Migrate Your Data app.

  • Profit center &1 not found in controlling area &2
    Message no. FAGL_ORG_UNITS 001

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open app "Migrate Your data".
  2. Select the object "SD - Sales order (only open SO)".
  3. Download and Upload template file, Prepare, Mapping
  4. Simulate the data.

Cause

Profit center validity does not comply with the document date.

Resolution

The validity of the profit center maintained in the application "Manage Profit centers" needs to be adjusted with the document date provided in the migration template.
