Symptom
Some of the rows values are multiplied after importing data from S/4 Hana cloud using import settings as Update.
Additionally, If created a separate model in which user load the data for a single project and the data retrieved on the first import was correct, but once user deleted the filter, could retrieve multiple projects, the data for the project used in the first load was doubled on a couple of entries. With the next refresh, the rows which were doubled were corrected, but other ad-hoc entries for the same project were doubled once more.
Environment
SAP Analytics Cloud 2021.7.7
Reproducing the Issue
- Create a model based on S4HANA Import Connections – Oddata services.
- Import data with setting Update. Data retrieved for the same project, but filtered on 4th July 2021 - Only one row imported with the correct value.
- Changed importing options from Update to Clean and replace selected version data and changed the query selection to retrieve data only for 2021,Data is imported correctly with no duplicates.
- Changed query selection to retrieve all data available for 2021, the data retrieved is correct.
- Removed the calendar date restrictions to load data for the whole period of time: Duplications appeared.
