3066486 - Business Process Engine red in PI Component Monitor

Symptom

  • You observe the Business Process Engine is displaying RED (error) state in the PI Component Monitor
  • Checking the developer/default trace files you observe the following exception (or similar):
    "Error while inserting/updating text variables for process instance '<instance_id>'.

    java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: language zh not supported
    at com.sap.glx.handler.text.TextManager.createLocaleFallback(TextManager.java:568)
    ...
