3066550 - Error when trying to remove the Serial Number while performing Adjustment Confirmation for Warehouse Order

You are trying to remove the Serial Number ABC while performing Adjustment Confirmation for Warehouse Order DEF. Error appears:

Action failed
-----> Serial number ABC cannot be deleted; this is not the last active document

(ABC refers to Serial Number ID, DEF refers to Warehouse Order ID)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Inbound Logistics Work Center.
2. Navigate to By Warehouse Order View.
3. Search for warehouse order DEF.
4. Click on Edit button.
5. Click on Adjustment Confirmation.
6. Navigate to sub tab Serial Numbers and click on Enable Entry button.
7. Select serial number ABC and click on Remove.
8. Error appears:

Action failed
-----> Serial number ABC cannot be deleted; this is not the last active document

You have created Goods and Activity Confirmations after the inbound of the serial number ABC.

We have strict validations in particular to serial number scenarios to avoid any inconsistency in the system.

Until all the documents are reversed in particular order, this error is valid and expected.

Please reverse all the Goods and Activity Confirmations, then only inbound delivery can be adjusted.

Please follow the following steps:

1. Navigate to Service Entitlements - Registered Products View
2. Search for Serial Number ABC, click on Edit.
3. Go to Detailed Inventory Tracking Tab, you will understand the GAC documents ID.
4. Navigate to Internal Logistics Work Center.
5. Go to Display / Reverse Goods And Activity Confirmations view.
6. Filter and select the GAC ID.
7. Click on Reverse Confirmation button.

After all the reversals are done, you can go and adjust comfirmation for the warehouse order.
