3066550 - Error: Serial number ABC cannot be deleted; this is not the last active document

When trying to remove the Serial Number ABC while performing Adjustment Confirmation for Warehouse Order DEF, error appears:

(ABC represents Serial Number ID, DEF represents Warehouse Order ID)

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Inbound Logistics Work Center.
2. Go to By Warehouse Order Sub-View under Monitoring view.
3. Search for Warehouse Order DEF (DEF represents the Warehouse Order ID).
4. Choose Edit button.
5. Choose Adjustment Confirmation button.
6. Select the relevant Line Item.
7. Go to Serial Numbers sub tab.
8. Choose Enable Entry button.
9. Select Serial Number ABC (where ABC represents the Serial Number).
10. Choose Remove.
11. Error appears:

Action failed
-----> Serial number ABC cannot be deleted; this is not the last active document

• Goods and Activity Confirmations have been created after the Inbound or Outbound of the Serial Number ABC.
• Until all the documents are reversed in particular order, this error is valid and expected.

(ABC represents the Serial Number)

Reverse all the Goods and Activity Confirmations, then the Inbound or Outbound Warehouse Order can be adjusted.

Follow the below steps to reverse GAC:

1. Go to Service Entitlements.
2. Go to Registered Products View.
3. Search and Open the Serial Number ABC (ABC represents the Serial Number) .
4. Go to Detailed Inventory Tracking Tab, observe the GAC documents ID.
5. Go to Internal Logistics Work Center.
6. Go to Display / Reverse Goods And Activity Confirmations view.
7. Search and select the GAC ID.
8. Choose on Reverse Confirmation button.

After all the reversals are done, adjust confirmation can be performed for the warehouse order.
