Symptom
Wage types that pay the Benefits in Kind to the employees are maintained in IT0014 or IT0015.
For mid-month starters or leavers, the amounts held in these wage types are factored based on the settings of the processing class 10.
Example:
Consider a scenario where the employee is paid private medical benefit of £200 from 15.03.2021.
The factored value held against this wage type would be £109.68.
Before changes
Without implementing the changes detailed in the resolution section of this KBA, the value held against /517 would be £200 which is the total monthly amount. The value reported against the field BIK PY in P11d(b) would be £200 incorrectly.
/172 would however be holding the factored amount = £109.68
Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
