3067736 - How to generate user login data report using Stories in People Analytics

Symptom

  • Generate a report to fetch statistical user logon data in BizX
  • How to know who is logging in our instance?
  • How to audit who has logged in our system?

Environment

  • SAP SuccessFactors People Analytics
  • SAP SuccessFactors HXM Suite

Resolution

  1. Logon to BizX application;
  2. Navigate to Reporting
  3. Create a new Story Report:

  4. Choose Login Data as the Driving Table: 

  5. Select Login Detail & select the fields. Note: The only fields available for Login Data in Stories in People Analytics are Access Date, First Name, Last Name, Display name, External Person ID & User ID
  6. If required, you can join this table with Basic User Information. 
  7. The results in the query are determined on the user's target population. We cannot change the People Scope of the report for Login Data in Stories in People Analytics.
  8. Start to build the table: 
  9. See data being populated. 


  10. Please review Help Portal Guide on adding filters to count logins for Users & Filters on Access Date. 
  11. Note: We don't have the same mapping with Table Reports.
