3067792 - Employer information doesn't populate on the W4 federal form - Onboarding


Some fields such as Employer´s name and address, Employer Identification Number (EIN) and first date of Employment are not getting populated on the United States Federal Form W4.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Complete the compliance tasks;
  2. Go to the signature step;
  3. Fields are blank as below screenshot (yellow section)


At present the Employer section will not be populated. Onboarding only support the employer declaration and filling the employee section.


Onboarding supports the declaration by the employee and this is what the employee submits even while submitting on paper.
The employer section is not part of the declaration by the employee while submitting to the employer.
In case further processing is needed by the employer then they would have to do it outside the system in case they need to submit it to IRS.
