3068115 - Time off requests keep loading in mobile application under approve requests section

Symptom

Time off requests appears as loading under 'Approve Requests' for a manager in mobile device. The manager is unable to approve them.

Currently the issue is seen for time off request where the country/region is United Stated or Canada.

  • SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Mobile Applications

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Open mobile application as a manager (android or iOS)
  2. The time off request shows constant loading bars:



  • In Android:
    • The request appears loading and cannot be clicked even after choosing 'Show All Requests'
  • In iOS:
    • The request appears if you choose option “All requests”, but on clicking it, an error occurs: “Failed to load data. Please try again later.”

Cause

It is a permission issue.

Resolution

  • The approver needs to have view permission to EmployeeTimeUSA or EmployeeTimeCAN object, for US and CAN employees respectively.
