3068543 - Price difference remains on the material's ending inventory

Symptom

When you check App Material Price Analysis, you find for certain material, the price difference remains on the material's ending inventory, even though the ending inventory is zero.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Cause

You might have run App Change Price Determination for the material.
The price determination was changed from 3 to 2.
Currently, the material is 2V managed, so actual costing is not relevant.
The price difference can't be allocated.

Resolution

Be careful about the consequences for changing price determination.
