Symptom

Below error message has been encountered while using the API - API_PRODUCT_SRV with the communication arrangement SAP_COM_0077 in a POST or PATCH operation.

  • Matl master maintenance not possible for transaction chosen (TKSTATUS)

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Run the POST operation with API_PRODUCT_SRV.
  2. Check the message dashboard.

Cause

POST, PATCH operation is not supported for the communication scenario SAP_COM_0077.

Resolution

Configure a communication user with the scenario SAP_COM_0009 (Product Integration).
