3070363 - Resolving Missing Authorization Issues for SSCUI

Symptom

Trying to access an SSCUI and are facing issues due to missing authorization.

Environment

S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Attempt to access the SSCUI.
  2. Observe the error message indicating missing authorization.

Cause

Need to assign the correct roles to the UserID.

Resolution

  1. Download the attached file SSCUI List.xlsm.
  2. Open the tab S4H Cloud.
  3. Press CTRL + F and search for the desired SSCUI.
  4. Locate the SSCUI in the column Configuration Step ID.
  5. Check the same row, but in the column Main Scope Item ID.
  6. Identify the Scope Item and access it via https://rapid.sap.com/bp/#/scopeitems/TYPE SCOPE ID HERE (replace TYPE SCOPE ID HERE with BD3, for example).
  7. Download the Test Script file.
  8. Open the Test Script file and look for Roles in the Table of Contents.
  9. Add the listed roles to your user ID, and it should work.
