3070371 - eQuest Error Message When Posting Job Requisition - Recruiting Management

Symptom

When posting the Job Requisition using eQuest Integration, the following error appears even if the Job Requisition is not being posted to a embargoed Country:

"Outbound communication to eQuest was blocked because it attempted to access a service in a country or region in which SAP does not provide products or services.
Per SAP policy and applicable law, using or accessing SAP products and services in or from these countries/regions is strictly prohibited.
For more information on SAP end use restrictions, please visit: https://www.sap.com/about/agreements/export-statements.html"

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Recruiting > Job Requisition
  2. Open the Job Requisition > Job Posting tab
  3.  Post the Job Requisition using eQuest

Cause

If the Posting Country is not one of the Countries listed on this page, the error message is being caused by an incorrect configuration of the URLs on eQuest settings.

Resolution

Please make sure that all URLs defined in Provisioning>Managing Recruiting>Partner Settings>EQuest Integration Setting are following the next example:
