3070434 - Warning message FCO_RTPC112 when performing order settlement

After CE2105 upgrade, when you perform order settlement with app Run Actual Settlement, Settle Orders – Optimized and the job template Non-Parallel Accounting Actual Settlement: Production/Process Orders & Product Cost Collectors, warning message shows:

FCO_RTPC 112: Be careful with apps to run settlement

Perform order settlement.

This warning message FCO_RTPC 112 is used to remind the customer who implemented multiple ledgers whether the correct application is being used when performing order settlement for BEI scope item.

There are 2 scenarios for scope item BEI you need to consider when performing order settlement:

1. Keep using app Run Actual Settlement, Settle Orders-Optimized and job template Non-Parallel Accounting Actual Settlement: Production/Process Orders & Product Cost Collectors if you did not create any different material prices in different ledgers and would like to settle the same values in all ledgers. These apps always settle the order balance based on leading ledger values and copy the same value to non-leading ledgers.

2. Use job Production Settlement in Parallel Ledgers instead if you have created different material prices in different ledgers and would like to settle different values in different ledgers. When different productions costs are posted in parallel ledgers against cost objects, settle with app Run Actual Settlement, Settle Orders-Optimized and job template Non-Parallel Accounting Actual Settlement: Production/Process Orders & Product Cost Collectors may cause the following:

• Remaining order balance which cannot be fully settled in non-leading ledger with company code currency, group currency and freely defined currency.
• Failure when setting the order status to ‘close’.
