3070752 - Account ID Missing in Registered Product


You have the Registered Product XXX which was used in a Service Order and you check the Account ID, it is missing.

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Service Entitlements work center. 
  2. Select Registered Products view. 
  3. Find Registered Product XXX. 
  4. Notice that the Account ID is missing. 


In the service scenario, the Account is not attached for Register Product after Outbound Delivery is released. Because the Outbound Delivery does not update the account name on the Registered Product in a Service Order scenario, only in a Sales Order scenario.

This account assignment to the Registered Product is not currently supported for the Service Order scenario.


As this is not supported in service scenario, the system is working as expected.
