3071059 - Change receiver cost center in settlement rule

After settlement for a specific period, you changed the receiver cost center and settle again in the same period. But system still settle to the old receiver cost center.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. Perform project settlement for a specific period, then change the receiver cost center in settlement rule.
2. Settle again for the same period, but receiver cost center is not change.

Upon first settlement in a period, entries will be created in the settlement history for each distribution rule in the settled ledger.
When you settle the same period again, the application will check if the entries required for the distribution rules already exist in the settlement history.
If yes, the old receiver will be applied – even if the settlement rule has been changed in the meantime.

If you want to use the new receiver cost center for the current period settlement(where Settlement already exists),
you would need to execute a Reversal for all current period settlement and then settle again with the new settlement rule.
