3071322 - "Ship-from" Column Lines in Sales Orders View Not Populated in External Fulfillment Scenario

When checking a Sales Order Item which has External Fulfillment, you notice that the "Ship-From" Line is not populated in those Items.

 SAP Business ByDesign.

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Open the Sales Orders screen.
3. Find Sales Order ABC (Where ABC represents the Sales Order ID) and Highlight it's line.
4. In the lower part of the same screen, select the "Items" subtab.

 You notice that for items which have their Fulfillment as External, the "Ship-From" Line is blank. 

This is the expected system behaviour. In cases of items with External Fulfillment, the field "Supplier" will be populated instead of "Ship-From".

If the "Supplier" column is not already present in the Sales Order search screen, you can add it by following these steps:

1. Go to the Sales Orders work center.
2. Open the Sales Orders screen.
3. Search for any order.
4. On the top-right side of the screen, click on your Avatar.
5. In the submenu, click on Start Personalization Mode.
6. In the lower part of the same screen, select the "Items" subtab.
7. On the right-side of the screen, click on the ">" arrow on the right of "Unnamed Table".
8. Check the "Visible" checkbox for "Supplier".
9. Click on the "Save" button.
