3072453 - The Development or Mentoring Tab Shows During Proxy

The Development or Mentoring Tab shows in the Home Page dropdown during proxy.

SAP SuccessFactors Succession & Development

1. Go to the Proxy Management tool.
2. Grant 'User A' proxy rights to 'User B' for 'Home Page Tab' only.
3. As 'User A' proxy as 'User B'.
4. Verify you can see the 'Development' tab in the home page drop down.

Note: You may also see the 'Onboarding' tab which has the same behavior.

This behavior only occurs for users which have access to Mentoring as the module is navigated to via the Development tab. However, it will not grant users access to the Development Module itself unless desired via your configuration.

This is the expected system behavior as Mentoring is an independent module which can be enabled and used without Career Development Planning and is not selectable in the Proxy Management tool.
