3072701 - Extension Field values maintained while creation of Freight Document disappears

While trying to create a New Freight Document with reference to  Outbound Delivery KLM, Extension field values are maintained, After saving Freight Document we do not  see Extension Field values.*KLM refers to Outbound Delivery id

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Outbound Logistics Work Center 
2. Navigate to Shipments View 
3. Select New 
4. Select a delivery ID KLM
5. Click Next
6. In 2.Edit Details, Maintain all the necessary fields and also the extension fields
7. Select Next and Finish.

A new Freight List is created, Extension field values goes missing.

Extension fields has the extension scenario "Outbound Delivery - General Information to Shipments - General Information". This means that they are sourced from the Outbound Delivery.Although in Outbound Delivery - General Information, Extension fields are seen it does not contain values for these fields. Extension field  values maintained in Freight document will not send and save the value to the original screen i.e Outbound Delivery-General Information.  Hence we cannot maintain the extension field  values and save in Freight List as the values are originating from Outbound Delivery.

You will have to maintain extension field values in Outbound Delivery - General Information  before releasing Outbound Delivery, Once Outbound Delivery is released and after creation of freight document the extension field value flows from  Outbound Delivery - General Information to Shipments - General Information.This is the expected behavior.
