3072777 - Content Import Tool Error - String index out of range

When importing SCORM/AICC content zip files using the Import Content Tool, a validation error occurs:

• String index out of range

SAP SuccessFactors Learning

1. Have a SCORM/AICC zip file
2. Go to Content > Import Content
3. Proceed through the tool by choosing the zip file and content deployment location
4. After the zip file has been checked, face error

A possible cause:

• The manifest contains references to external metadata resources. The resources must be valid URLs 

Please make sure that the supportedFileExtensions and unsupportedFileExtensionsInZipFiles under IMPORT_CONTENT configuration is updated.

1. Open the ZIP file
2. Find the manifest file (most commonly the imsmanifest.xml)
3. Find the XML namespace and validate the resources are valid
