3072912 - Hide/Remove 360 External Participants From the People Search - 360 Multi-Rater

• This article explains how to set 360 External Participants to inactive in the system. 
• External Participants added to 360 Multi-rater Reviews are still returned in user search results, even after the 360 Review has been completed.

In the People Search, an external participant previously added to a 360 Review is returned in the search results:

The "extuser" username denotes that this is an external user added to the system.

Hide visibility of External Users

1. Go to Admin Center > Employee Export
2. Select "Export External 360 Raters":

In the CSV file, the list of External 360 participants/raters is listed.

To remove the visibility of the External Participants in the search results, change the status from active_external to inactive_external.

Example - change the status of "extuser280" to inactive_external:

3. Save the csv file
4. Go to Admin Center > Import Employee Data
5. Select an entity > "Basic Import" 
6. Choose the csv file

3. Click Import button

The external participant set to inactive_external (e.g. extuser280) is no longer visible in the People Search results:

Purge External Users

1. Go to Data Retention Management
2. Under the Manual Data Purge tab, select "Create Purge Request"
3. Select the "Purge Inactive User" purge request type
4. In the Select a Single User, enter the extuser ID you wish to purge.  Alternatively, you may upload a list of users.

5. Add an approver
6. Launch Immediately 
7. As the approver, go to Purge Request Monitor to approve the request

The result will be that the extuser will be purged from the system.
