SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central: Position Management

• Go to Org Chart and identify a Manager profile who have Direct reportees.
• Terminate the Manager with a future date.
• Identify the Manager's Job Information record with future dated termination details.
• Go to Org Chart again and can see Manager is still active without transfer of Direct Reportees to new expected Manager.

This is expected behavior.

• Org chart is based on User Data File (UDF) data.
• To get the UDF updated, the Job Information data need to be updated.
• Then the manager data gets synced to UDF.
• As the termination is in future date (including transfer of Direct Reportees), the change will happen only after the expected termination date reached.
• So future dated change for termination like transfer of Direct Reportees will take place on day of termination.
