3073927 - How field override work in Canvas report

Field Level overrides does not consider Target population

Assume there are 2 roles are assigned to a MDF Object.  One permission provides 'View Current permission', while the other provides 'View Current and Field Level Overrides' (and some fields are checked with No access).

System will consider a UNION of the field override setting in all roles where VIEW permission is granted to the selected MDF object.

And the customer running the report can see data for all the fields, including the fields which are checked with Field level Overrides.

 

Field Level Override of the given 'field' is determined by 'VIEW' permission ONLY, but will NOT consider target population (or) target criteria.
