3074157 - Error "The element xxx of the CDS view is not Read-Only" occurs when opening SEGW project

Symptom

You're using transaction SEGW to open an OData service which's based on a CDS view, the following error occurs:

Error related to element 'xxx' of entity '$CDS_VIEW': The element 'xxx' of the CDS view '$CDS_VIEW ' is not Read-Only

Meanwhile,

  • When accessing the relevant services in Fiori apps, the service call goes to 404 'Resource not found' error.
  • In 'Activate and Maintain Service (/IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE)' transaction, the service does not show any EntitySet.
  • The $CDS_VIEW mentioned in the error is having data.
