3074670 - Error Message: To-stock process type not possible; supply planning data missing

You are trying to release purchase order ABC (ABC represents the purchase order ID) but the Order button greyed out, and system raising error message:

- Item X: To-stock process type not possible; supply planning data missing. (X represents the purchase order item ID)

OR

You are trying to release purchase order ABC via migration tool，you receive the error messages during simulation stage：

- Ordering purchase order not possible; supply planning data missing.

- Document not submitted for approval; inconsistencies exist.

- Order not possible; entries missing or inconsistent.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to Purchase Request And Orders work center.
2. Go to Purchase Orders view. 
3. Find purchase order ABC and open it.
4. Click Check button, system raising error message:

Item X: To-stock process type not possible; supply planning data missing.

OR

1. Go to Business Configuration work center.
2. Select Implementation Projects view or Overview view.
3. Search and Find and Open the activity Migration of Purchase Orders.
4. Upload the migration file.
5. Select the Execute Migration button and choose the Step by Step option.
6. You receive the error messages during simulation stage:

Ordering purchase order not possible; supply planning data missing.

Document not submitted for approval; inconsistencies exist.

Order not possible; entries missing or inconsistent.

The ship-to location which you have entered in the purchase order is not maintained under the Planning tab of the corresponding product master data.

Please open the product master data, add a row under the Planning tab for the ship-to location and activate it.

Once this is done and saved, you can go back and check the purchase order.

You will no longer face the error and will be able to order it in the system or via migration tool.
