3074744 - How to delete an approval process

You cannot delete an approval process of a document because the delete button is grayed out.

SAP Business ByDesign

1.  Go to Application user management work center
2.  Go to Approval process view
3.  Select the Approval process
4.  You see that Delete button is disabled

This approval process may be showing created by SAP, but it was created because respective scoping question was scoped by  one of your users

1.  Go to Business configuration work center
2.  Go to Reports view
3.  click on Configuration change history
4.  Go to Questions
5.  Here you will see as to who scoped it and also the path

Please uncheck the respective business configuration question.

1.  Go to business configuration 
2.  Go to  Implementation projects view
3.  Select the project and click on edit Project scoping( if its not possible then  mostly a change project is required to make this change, so contact the respective person in your team who does such change projects.)
4.  Go to question step and navigate  to the path you  got  wit steps under cause section
5.  Click on uncheck the respective question and save
