3075450 - Wrong Identified Stock Proposed by The System When Posting Goods Issue

While posting a goods issue, the system automatically proposes the identified stock which has the earliest expiration date. For that purpose a Material Flow Rule is being created for the Source Determination at Logistics Area level with the FIFO strategy.

However, the system is proposing a different identified stock.

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to the work centre Outbound Logistics.
2. Select the Delivery Proposals view.
3. Search for the respective Reference ID. 
4. Choose Post Goods Issue. 

> The proposed identified stock is not the one with the earliest expiration date.

In the Location Layout, a Material Flow Rule is being maintained for Source Determination only at Logistics Area level with the FIFO strategy. However, when the system allocates the Identified Stock / Logistics Area, it does this at Site level.

Maintain the FIFO Picking Strategy at Site level and not only for the Logistics Area.
